All the honor and all the glory goes to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Some of the pages on my personal website are for those people who have a total cholesterol reading between 200 mg/dL and 250 mg/dL and for those people who want or need to improve their cholesterol profile.

As you might know, doctors hesitate to prescribe any drugs becuase of either your age or becuase your cholesterol has not yet reach over 250 mg/dL.Here is the good news: I was able to reduce my total cholesterol significantly !! keep on reading....

  • I lowered my (LDL) bad cholesterol from 144 mg/dL to 100 mg/dL.

  • I maintained my (HDL) good cholesterol. My HDL did not change much since it was already high. My HDL was 65 mg/dL and it went up to 68 mg/dL.

  • I improved my total cholesterol reading, my ratio also improved. My total cholesterol reading was 230 mg/dL in 2002 and it was in the summer of 2005 178 mg/dL. After 6 months of following my plan. In the spring of 2007, I got my cholesterol checked again and it was 193 mg/dL. I'll tell you why and what went up.

  • I lowered my triglycerides from 70 in 2002 to 51 in 2005 to 48 in 2007.

Other benefits that I have seen:

  • I lost weight and built muscle. In average I lost 1 lb of weight per week (for 25 weeks) which is a good guideline for losing weight in a healthy way. I went from 158 lbs (at the start) down to 129 lbs (in about 7.5 months).

  • My knees used to hurt during changes on the weather or from time to time and that's been gone since the summer of 2005.

  • I have more energy and now, I can play sports better, I'm faster and I enjoy playing with my kids without getting exhausted.

  • I have a better attitude about life not just becuase of my changes in my physical body but becuase Jesus has helped me through my changes and He is with me throughout my day.

  • I know that small changes can account for big results later on. I learned how to set my own goals.

  • I proved to myself and everyone else that I could do it and I did it!. I learned to challenge myself better.

  • You might experience these and other benefits as you get started following the next few pages.

Go to My Cholesterol to find out what I did to accomplish all that.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.
